The Architect integrated system is a fully automated clinical chemistry and
immunoassay system consisting of a System Control Center (SCC), Processing Module (i1000sr) and Standard Sample Handler (SSH) that forms a single workstation. The Abbott Architect system is designed to perform automated: Chemistry tests, utilizing photometry and potentiometric technology, and Immunoassay tests, utilizing CMIA (chemiluminescent microparticle assay) detection technology.
